Dieometer is an entertainment and education tool built on public actuarial data and published research. It is not a medical device, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional healthcare. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something you read here.

It cannot predict your death

The calculator produces a statistical average for a population of people who gave the same answers you did. It has no knowledge of you as an individual. Any resemblance between its output and your actual lifespan is coincidence layered on top of statistics. See the methodology for a candid list of what the model cannot do.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the figures are accurate, current, or fit for any particular purpose, and we are not liable for any decision you make on the basis of them.

Acceptable use

Do not use this service to make decisions about another person’s insurance, employment, credit or care. It is not valid for any such purpose, and using it that way may be unlawful where you live.

The Extension Plan

The Extension Plan is an optional, one-time digital purchase. Payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as the seller of record for the sale and handles any sales tax or VAT; its terms apply to the payment itself. The plan is generated in your browser the moment your payment is confirmed, so it is delivered immediately.

One purchase is for one person. It opens on your own devices and rebuilds from any new result you take on them. Please do not share your plan link publicly.

Like the rest of the site, the plan is a structured summary of published evidence, not medical advice, and it cannot take your medical history into account. Check with a doctor before making significant changes, especially if you have a health condition or take medication.

Refunds: if the plan is not useful to you, email hello@dieometer.com within 30 days of buying it and we will refund it in full. This is in addition to any rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes

The model, the copy and these terms may change. Material changes to the model will be noted on the methodology page.
